Were a great centre for private tuition, our expert instructors can coach even the most apprehensive student to be confident in their chosen sport.
The first step in any sport will be a 1-hour taster lesson, absolutely no experience is required and whether you want to go it alone or with a family member or friend our expert instructors will have you confident in no time.
We can offer taster sessions in the following: -
Sailing
£40 per person for 1 hour - private 1-1 session
£30 per person for 2 or more for 1 hour in a session (max 6)
Kayaking and Paddleboarding
£30 per person for 1 hour a private 1-1 session
£20 per person for 2 or more for 1 hour in a session (max 6)
Courses
The next step in your journey will be to take one of our recognised courses, upon completion you will have all the skills necessary to be water confident on your own.
R.Y.A Level 1 & 2 sailing
This course combines the start to sail and competent crew member and covers all aspects of sailing including basic knots, helmsman skills and first aid.
The course comprises 24 hours of tuition, three hours of which will be theory.
At the end of the course, successful candidates are presented with RYA certificates
Courses run over six weeks, usually on Saturday afternoons, for four hours on each day. The cost is £300 and includes all equipment, tuition, logbooks, and certificates.

B.C.U 1 Star
A basic introduction to kayaks
It begins with a basic introduction to kayaks and will then take you through all the skills required for safe paddling and handling.
This one-day course is available to book any time costs £160.
B.C.U 2 Star
Taking your skills to the next level
After passing the 1 star course it’s time to progress to introduce new strokes and basic rescue techniques before focusing on the various types of paddle sports in more detail.
This one-day course is available to book any time costs £160.
R.Y.A Powerboat level 1 & 2
This combined course takes you straight from beginner up to Level 2. The course runs over two full days and covers both practical and theory elements.
We offer recognised powerboating courses with qualified and experienced instructors who will teach you all the skills to enjoy fun and safe powerboating.
This two-day course is available to book any time costs £350.
